Crossing Boundaries with a Mission from Melbourne to Africa

Crossing Boundaries with a Mission
When trauma enters the workplace, we can’t improvise.
We need a foundation to build on — one rooted in care, presence, and systems that don’t collapse when people do.
After my time at the Wellbeing-at-Work-summit Melbourne, where I had the honour of hosting the workshop “When Trauma Enters the Workplace — We Need a Foundation to Build On”, my journey continues. And so does my mission.
I’m deeply grateful and proud to share that I will also be speaking at the Wellbeing at Work-summit- South Africa, taking place virtually on 13 November 2025 (Summit agenda).
Why This Matters
Too often, trauma in the workplace remains unspoken.
We see the consequences — burnout, absenteeism, broken trust — but not always the root causes.
My goal is to help organisations move beyond symptom management.
To support cultures where trauma is acknowledged, spoken about, and structurally addressed within a sustainable wellbeing strategy.
Not just as a reaction to crisis — but as a strategic, conscious choice.
What I will share at the Summit
Together, we’ll explore how organisations can:
🔹 Recognise trauma as a systemic issue
🔹 Use the 5-phase model of post-traumatic growth
🔹 Embed wellbeing into leadership and policy
🔹 Align trauma care with ESG and business strategy
I’m thankful to Wellbeing at Work for offering me this platform to bring trauma-informed leadership to the global conversation.
Let’s Build the Future of Work — Together

the Wellbeing at Work - Summit - Melbourne or register for the free online Summit - South Africa on 13 November 2025.
Let’s shape workplaces where trauma doesn’t stay in the shadows.
